As the GTM Finance, you will partner cross-functionally with leaders in sales, marketing, product, and customer success to drive strategic initiatives related to both short and long-term financial planning for our Go-to-Market (GTM) teams.

This is a strategic and operational role within a hyper-growth company, providing the opportunity to make a significant impact on the business by partnering with senior management to optimize GTM strategies, improve revenue growth, and make key investment decisions. Reporting to the Director of Strategic Finance, this role is critical to evolving our Strategic Finance function in alignment with our GTM objectives.

Responsibilities:

  • Own Apollo’s growth model, encompassing our sales-led and self-serve motions.
  • Drive forecasting and annual planning for bookings, revenue, operating expenses, headcount, and performance optimization for the GTM organization.
  • Develop financial models to set targets, provide financial constraints, and assess ROI for all GTM programs, including marketing campaigns, sales initiatives, and customer retention programs.
  • Own Apollo’s GTM efficiency metrics reporting, including LTV:CAC, CAC payback, Gross and Net Magic Number, etc.
  • Lead pricing and packaging workstreams from a financial perspective.
  • Conduct monthly and quarterly business reviews, providing actionable insights on GTM financial performance to senior leadership.
  • Assist with process and systems improvements to drive growth, streamline financial operations, and enhance scalability for the GTM organization.

Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience in a finance-focused role within GTM functions at a SaaS or high-growth technology company. Experience in equity research, private equity, hedge funds, or investment banking is a plus.
  • Highly analytical and detail-oriented, with a strong aptitude for financial modeling, data analysis, and solving complex problems.
  • Proven experience working cross-functionally with GTM leaders and teams; strong collaborator and listener, with a focus on understanding business challenges, building relationships, and driving impact.
  • Ability to communicate complex financial concepts clearly and effectively to both financial and non-financial stakeholders.
  • Proficient in using SQL to obtain data to support decision-making; experience with tools like Snowflake and Looker is a plus.
  • Displays a high level of curiosity about our business, shows eagerness to learn, and is biased toward action.
