This gap has only grown larger over time, creating a clear opportunity for a model that delivers critical mental health care at scale. Brave is on a mission to expand access to high-quality, affordable behavioral health care through a fully virtual community mental health center model, with a differentiated approach to serving Medicaid beneficiaries. Brave began as a fee-for-service provider to create a presence in the market and gather data, but now, having garnered industry-leading outcomes and deep, differentiated relationships with managed care organizations, we are in the midst of an accelerating transition to value-based care as a primary reimbursement methodology.

We’re looking for someone to help us own the goal of building continued business understanding, while presenting analytics to drive better decision making, business unit transparency and overall business performance.

Role Summary:

This remote Sr. BI Manager is responsible for managing our core operational and analytical processes, driving accountability across the business and highlighting areas of opportunity through back-end data enablement and front-end user tooling. We’re looking for someone with a mix of strategic judgment, analytical capability, and a leadership orientation to help us drive continued analytical understanding and dashboarding tied to key business objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Quantitative Visualization and Analysis
    • Lead the development of strategic and operating cadence behind business-wide and business-unit specific reporting; owning dashboard consistency, accuracy and predictability
    • Drive accountability through weekly and ongoing reporting processes; hold the bar to demonstrate key business progress and
    • Implement scalable tools and processes for effective data fluency across the business
  • Predictability and Forecasting
    • Develop and maintain extensive key performance indicators (KPI) and models separating business expectations from business performance
    • Enable accuracy of forecasting across key business processes
    • Conduct insightful analyses of key performance trends
  • Strategic Partnership with Business Leaders
    • Collaborate effectively to set priorities and maintain ongoing point of view on data maturity and data management across the business
    • Ability to take complex business issues, analyze problems, propose solutions in a simple to understand way for business leaders

Qualifications

  • 6+ years of start-up or high growth analytics experience; ideally mix of quantitative/analytical priors (e.g. computational major, etc)
  • High analytical fluency and comfort; creative in approach to representing business activity day to day with high degree of fidelity to all required external reporting
  • Experience with managing complex stakeholders, providing data-backed answers to business leader concerns
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver on evolving processes while maintaining high degree of individual productivity
  • Data engineering experience, some commercial responsibilities and exposure outside of pure analytics
  • Experience with services/provider based businesses; thinking through margins and key growth drivers
  • Highly analytically self-sufficient, full-stack data orientation
