Job Title: Technical Project Manager

BrightInsight’s team construct, a collaboration with major players in tech, healthcare and life sciences, is committed to conduct cutting-edge research in tech-enabled health care and incubate data-driven digital and non-digital solutions which aim to improve a person’s health outcomes, the lives and ability for families to support and care for their loved ones, clinicians’ experience, and to reduce health care costs.

We seek a talented Technical Project Manager to join our technology team, specializing in crafting exceptional user experiences for a new digital health solution tailored to individuals with chronic conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Planning and Management:

  • Lead the planning, execution, and closure of multiple technical projects. Develop detailed project plans, including scope, timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
  • Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.

Agile Software Development:

  • Implement and manage Agile practices, including Scrum, Kanban, or other Agile methodologies.
  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Coach team members on Agile principles and practices to enhance project efficiency and team collaboration.
  • Continuously improve Agile processes to increase team productivity and deliver high-quality software.

Stakeholder Communication:

  • Serve as the main point of contact for all project-related communications.
  • Facilitate effective communication between stakeholders, including clients, team members, and senior management.
  • Prepare and present regular project updates, status reports, and post-project evaluations.

Risk Management:

  • Identify, assess, and manage project risks and issues.
  • Develop mitigation strategies and contingency plans to address potential project obstacles.
  • Monitor and report on project progress, escalating issues as necessary to ensure timely resolution.

Team Leadership and Collaboration:

  • Lead and motivate project teams, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
  • Assign and monitor work to ensure tasks are completed as planned.
  • Provide guidance and support to team members, ensuring adherence to project goals and timelines.

Quality Assurance:

  • Ensure all project deliverables meet quality standards and customer requirements.
  • Implement and monitor quality assurance processes throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Conduct post-implementation reviews to identify areas for improvement and ensure continuous process enhancement.

Technical Expertise:

  • Leverage technical knowledge to understand project requirements and translate them into actionable plans.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices to drive innovation within projects.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to ensure project feasibility and alignment with technical capabilities.

Qualifications:

Here is some of what you’ll need …

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare, engineering or related industry
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in program management in software development.
  • 2+ years of experience in working in regulated software or medical device industry
  • Expertise in FDA design control requirements (21 CFR 820.30) as applied to medical device software and medical device regulations including ISO 13485, ISO 14971, Cybersecurity, IEC 62366, and IEC 62304
  • Familiarity with Software as Medical Device product development life cycle
  • Expertise with product / capabilities roadmaps
  • Experience working with nearshore and/or offshore development partners
  • Software development Scrum Master experience
  • Experience in a start-up preferred

Reports to:

Chief Technology Officer

Our Base Pay Range for this position:

$135,000.00 - $175,000.00
