About the Team

You will get to be part of a dynamic and autonomous team who joined on a mission to build Careem Groceries all aligned on the same values of ownership, shooting to the moon and being of service to customers, partners, colleagues and captains.

What you'll do

  • Work on promotions and clearance of our entire groceries selection
  • Monitor and update promotions as per campaigns that are being run, supplier supports that we get
  • Work with finance team to make sure we get the supplier support that was promised
  • Give intelligence to category managers on which items to get promotions for by looking at internal data and what is happening in the market
  • Make sure promo implementation are happening according to plan
  • Work with merchandising and catalog team for weekly implementation of promotions

What you'll need

  • Strong understanding of data in terms of cost price, Selling price, margins, item mix and category mix
  • Understanding of inventory data. Days on Hand, stocks at a risk of expiry.
  • Understanding of promotion metrics. Promo selection%, quantity uplift due to promotions
  • Strong hold of excel, G sheets. Sql coding is a plus
