Job intro

We are seeking a talented and experienced PR professional to join our dynamic team. You will be responsible for developing and executing strategic communication plans, managing media relations, and enhancing our brand presence through effective PR initiatives. You will collaborate with cross-functional and leadership teams to ensure consistent messaging and alignment with our company goals.

Responsibilities

  1. Develop and implement comprehensive PR strategies

    • Create and execute strategic PR plans to promote our content and initiatives

    • Identify target audiences, key messages, and appropriate channels to enhance brand visibility

    • Drive innovative PR campaigns to generate positive media coverage and increase brand awareness

    • Monitor industry trends, activities and emerging issue to proactively shape communication strategies

  2. Manage media relations

    • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with journalists, editors, influencers and media outlets

    • Develop compelling press releases, media kits, and other PR materials

    • Proactively pitch stories and secure media coverage to promote key content releases, events and company milestones

    • Serve as point of contact for media inquiries and coordinate interviews with company executives and talent

  3. Handle crisis communication

    • Develop and implement crisis communication plans to effectively manage and mitigate potential issues

    • Act as the primary spokesperson during crises, handling media inquiries and managing public perception

    • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to provide timely and accurate information to the media and the public

  4. Collaborate with cross-functional and leadership teams

    • Work closely with relevant teams to align PR initiatives with overall strategies

    • Collaborate with Content Creation teams to develop PR plans for new releases and original content

    • Provide PR guidance and support to executive leadership, ensuring consistent messaging across all communication channels

  5. Monitor and analyze PR performance

    • Track and measure the impact of PR activities using appropriate metrics and tools

    • Provide regular reports and analysis to stakeholders, highlighting the effectiveness of PR campaigns

    • Identify areas for improvement and make data-driven recommendations to enhance future PR strategies

Requirements

  • In-depth understanding of the media landscape and strong relationships with journalists, editors and influencers
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in both Korean and English with the ability to create engaging content for press releases, media kits, etc
  • Strong crisis management skills and the ability to handle high-pressure situations effectively
  • Experience in managing PR activities for content releases or events is highly desirable
  • Proficient in using PR tools and analytics platform

Preferred

  • Bachelors’ degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, or a related field

  • Familiarity with content streaming services and the entertainment and/or sports industry is a plus
