Job Overview:

As an Instock Manager for Rocket On Demand, you will be responsible for operational reporting and insights to make our sellers and consumers experience world-class.

We are looking for a talented, smart, and enthusiastic leader to manage all of our key inventory management KPIs. You will be responsible for developing and executing best practices in managing inventory, supply chain, and operations to maximize sellers and customers experience, sales, margin, instock rates and inventory turns. 

This is a high visibility, high impact role and requires strong communication (written & verbal) and the ability to collaborate cross-functionally to deliver results. Successful candidates will be those able to prioritize well, display Ownership, Dive Deep and have a consistent track record of delivering results. The role requires superb business judgment, in-stock, supply chain, or operations management experience. 

Everyone on the team needs to be entrepreneurial, wear many hats, and work in a highly collaborative environment that’s more a startup than a big company.

 

Key Responsibilities:  

- Set Goals, Own & drive the roadmap for key Instock management KPIs/metrics.

- Determining inventory strategies to optimize sales, margins & inventory health.

- Ensuring that the company makes efficient supply chain decisions including improvement to inventory management processes over time.

- Manage inventory health by setting and executing exit strategies for unproductive inventory. 

- Drive root cause analysis/reporting on operational issues, develop action plans and project manage improvements with the ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously.

- Deliver process improvements and drive automation, while continuously improving operational metrics for the business to support the growth of the category 

 

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree majored in supply chain, operations, business, finance, analytical or related majors 
• 10+ years of experience in Management Consulting, Strategic planning
• Proficiency with Excel and extracting data through varied reporting tools to drive and influence business decisions
• Experience in negotiating with internal and external stakeholders and cross functional leadership.
• Ability to operate simultaneously and effectively in both tactical and strategic modes 
• A willingness to roll up sleeves to get things done 
• Strong communication skills - speaking, writing, presenting and negotiating 

 

Preferred :  

• Strong proficiency in analytical tools including Microsoft Excel, SQL and statistical software 
• MBA or MS in: Supply Chain or Operations Management 
• Biz. level of English proficiency
