핀테크 비즈니스 & 시스템즈 조직은 쿠팡을 온라인 결제가 가장 편리한 사이트로 만드는 것을목표로 합니다. 2015년에는 결제 프로세스를 대폭 간소화한 로켓페이를 도입하여 구매전환율을 끌어올렸으며, 그 결과 고객 Wallet Share도 상당히 상승했습니다. 이처럼 수백만 명이 가입한 로켓페이 서비스가 이미 운영중임에도 불구하고 우리는 혁신을 멈추지 않았습니다. 특히 최근에는 국내 최초로 로켓페이에 “원터치 결제” 기능을 적용하여 고객에게 보다 빠르고 편리한결제 경험을 선사하고 있습니다.

Fintech Platform Engineering 팀은 핀테크 비지니스팀의 성공을 위한 다음 단계의 플랫폼(framework, infra, data layer, and tools) 을 제공하는 엔지니어링 팀입니다.

업무 내용: Fintech 의 개발자들의 생산성을 향상시킬 수 있는 플랫폼 및 공통 플랫폼 설계를리드하고 구현을 통해 신뢰성을 향상시킵니다.

• 시니어/주니어 개발자들과 함께 시스템 디자인 논의 참여 및 리드
• Zero downtime 을 달성하기 위한 쿠팡 Fintech 차세대 infrastructure & platform 의 설계 및 구현
• microservice 를 위한 framework, API/ data routing 전략 설계 및 구현
• HA/DR Architecture 설계 (clustering, replication 등)를 주도 및 구현
• CI/CD DevOps 도구 고도화 및 최적화(considering both cloud and on-premise environments)
• best practice 를 발굴하고 팀에 전파
• 시니어/주니어 개발자들의 멘토로서 성장을 이끔
• 다른 쿠팡 기술 리더들과 협력하여 혁신적인 방법으로 서비스를 확장

자격 요건:

• 팀 플레이어
• Unix/Linux 기반의 10년 이상의 소프트웨어 엔지니어링 경력
• 5년 이상의 backend architecture 설계 및 구현 경험
• Strong coding skill - OOP and scripting language
• 장애 관리 및 모니터링 기능이 있는 대규모 운영 시스템 경험
• 조직이 확장되고 시스템이 복잡해지면서 발생하는 문제들을 겪고 구조적으로 해결해본 경험
• 컴퓨터 공학 또는 관련 기술 분야의 학사 학위를 소지한 자

Description:

Fintech Business & Systems is an organization whose primary goal is to make coupang.comthe most convenient platform for making online payments. In 2015, we launched Rocket Pay (now renamed as ‘Coupay’) to dramatically simplify the payment process, which has helped to improve conversion rate and customers’ wallet share in Coupang. Although millions of customers have signed up for our Coupay service, we have never stopped innovating. Recently, we introduced “one-touch payment” feature to Coupay, enabling our customers to have faster and more convenient payment experience.

Fintech Platform Engineering team provides the next step platforms (framework, infra, data layer and tools) required for the success of our fintech business teams.

Key Responsibilities: Lead the design of platforms that enhance productivity of developers and other common platforms, and improve reliability through implementation.

• Participate in and lead the discussions on system designs with junior and senior developers
• Design and implement Coupang’s next generation fintech infrastructure & platform to achieve zero downtime
• Design and implement the frameworks, API/data routing strategies for microservices
• Lead and implement HA/DR architecture design (clustering, replication, etc.)
• Advance and optimize CI/CD DevOps tools (considering both cloud and on-premise environments)
• Identify best practices and share them with the team
• Serve as a mentor for senior/junior developers and contribute to their growth
• Collaborate with other tech leaders in Coupang to scale up our services in an innovative manner

Basic Qualifications:

• A team player
• 10+ years of Unix/Linux-based software engineering experience
• 5+ years of backend architecture design and implementation experience
• Strong coding skill - OOP and scripting language
• Experience in managing large-scale operating system with the error management and monitoring features
• Experience in dealing with and structurally resolving the issues that occur when an organization grows in size and the systems get complicated
• Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering or other related tech fields

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in software development in a fintech organization
• The ability to handle multiple competing priorities in a fast-changing environment
• Strong background in cloud services (docker, K8S and AWS/ Google/ Azure)
• Experience in company-wide application of API Gateway and Service Mesh
• Strong knowledge in Java, distributed systems, micro services, messaging services
• Good understanding of the agile software development methods
