Role Overview

Coupang is looking for a Senior Director / Director to lead the Coupang Partners Marketing vertical. Coupang Partners is the largest affiliate program in South Korea. Started in 2018 as an ordinary affiliate program to drive up traffic and sales, it has developed into a massive growth engine for the business driving billions of dollars annually. The team built the program ground up including the platform that today hosts > 50K partners ranging from top app and web publishers to influencers and bloggers. The team is supported by a dedicated team of professionals including product managers, engineers, business development and publisher support teams. Our tech teams have developed products that have improved conversion rate for publishers, reduced fraud and made Coupang Partners one of the leading traffic monetization platforms in the country.

The role is for a leader who will define the strategic vision for the channel by identifying opportunities to grow the publisher side and technological complexity of the program therefore delivering high quality traffic to Coupang and delivering ever growing ad revenue to publishers. This would be a leadership position and would lead a complex team of Business Development, Publisher Support, and analytical professionals.

Basic Qualifications

  • Post-Graduation / MBA
  • At least 15+ years Leading Growth Teams, Ad Sales, Business Development
  • Experience of driven sales or tech led growth in large scale Ad tech platforms.
  • Led a team of 10+ professionals.
  • First principal, data-driven problem-solving approach.
  • Strong organizational skills, be self-motivated, confident, energetic, and creative.
  • Work well independently and be at the same time a good collaborative team player.

Preferred Qualifications

Individuals with experience in DSPs, large scale monetization platforms and Ad networks who have worked with product managers in defining Ad tech roadmaps, driven supply and created compelling ad network businesses. We are looking for T shaped leaders who have a wide exposure with depth in either of the areas including Supply acquisition, market growth, or Ad tech stack development.

15-20 years’ experience in large scale DSPs, Global Affiliate Networks or Ad Tech companies is an added advantage.
