Job Overview

As our Director for Treasury, you will be responsible for operational reporting and insights to make our consumer experience world-class.

What you will do

As a Treasury Director s/he will own the treasury management and partner directly with key business leaders to identify the right business strategies, provide a full range of financial related services. As a member of the leadership team, s/he will directly influence key business decisions including customer experience, business model, and long-term vision.

This role requires a self-starter with a strong passion for developing a team, a keen attention to detail, and an ability to set clear priorities in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will have shown success in influencing business owners and supporting decision making in rapidly evolving environments.

  • Manage relationships with existing and new banks, credit rating agencies, financial institutions, including supporting treasury needs for both corporate operations and network growth
  • Partner closely with our cross-functional teams to strategically build out the global payments network and advise on operational considerations
  • Monitor and manage the Company’s cash positions, including forecasting cash flows, optimizing cash balances, and executing cash management strategies to meet operational requirements
  • Develop and implement treasury strategies to optimize the company’s liquidity, funding and investment activities. Partner closely with our markets and trading team to implement efficient funding and settlement operations.
  • Develop investment strategies and guidelines for managing the Company’s excess cash and short-term investments. Evaluate and execute investment opportunities, including money market instruments, fixed-income securities, and other financial assets, as the corporate investment policies allow.
  • Responsible for identifying and assessing financial risks; including treasury operations, foreign exchange, and interest rate risks and executing solutions to mitigate.
  • Develop & drive strategies to optimize the company’s capital structure.
  • Develop, implement and monitor working capital strategies that minimize the use of capital or appropriately compensate for the use of capital to ensure liquidity and lowest cost of capital.
  • Provide subject matter expertise in Corporate Finance areas (e.g., compliance, WACC, discounting, etc.) to ensure best practices and consistency across the company.
  • Ensure covenant and reporting requirements are met on a timely basis for all debt instruments
  • Ensure compliance with treasury SOX controls, respond to internal and external audit requests, and provide recommendations to control structure.
  • Maintain and improve all treasury-related policies and operating procedures

Basic Qualifications

  • BA/BS degree required
  • Minimum of 15+ years in strong Finance experience, treasury, cash management, or corporate finance, with leadership role
  • A candidate with a strong global and regional banking network
  • Deep understanding of financial markets, banking products, and investment instruments
  • Demonstrated experience with the selection and effective implementation of treasury management systems with the proven ability to scale operations at a growing global technology or payments company
  • Excellent communications and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders and influence at the Senior Leadership level
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to evaluate complex financial data and make strategic recommendations
  • Strong work ethic and ability to be productive and successful in a fast-paced environment
  • Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to identify issues and propose solutions to complex or non-standard situation
  • Ability to work with cross functional teams, dive deep into the details
  • Korean /English

If no request is made until the end of this period, all of his/her hiring documents will be destroyed immediately in accordance with the Personal Information Protection Act.
