Description:

Coupang Taiwan is looking for an experienced and strategic Director of Capacity Planning. In this role, you will be responsible for demand forecasting, data analysis, managing capacity across our Fulfillment organization. This is an expat position in Taipei, Taiwan.

Key responsibilities:

• Daily demand forecasting based on data analysis.
• Providing appropriate visibility into daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly capacity for last-mile operations, setting goals, executing plans, and building strategies.
• Using data insights to accurately predict capacity, tracking changes between actual and planned outcomes, and providing appropriate daily solutions based on circumstances.
• Identifying risks and providing solutions to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Communicating quickly with key stakeholders to resolve issues.
• Defining, tracking, and managing how workforce capacity is planned and utilized within the network among leaders.
• Identifying improvement areas to adjust or optimize capacity through process improvements and/or strategic initiatives.

Essential Qualifications:

• Extensive experience in supply chain, operations, transportation, and fulfillment related fields.
• Experience in data processing and analysis, with the ability to draw conclusion from data and build basic models to support business decision-making.
• Experience with Excel, statistical modeling, and optimization.
• Strong understanding of end-to-end supply chain processes, including procurement, inventory management, logistics, and distribution.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building relationships with internal teams and external partners. Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a customer-centric mindset.
• Strong leadership qualities, with the ability to inspire and develop a high-performing team.
