Job Overview
Coupang is looking for a Taiwan-based Senior Staff Engineer to join our Information Security organization. Reporting to the Head of Information Security, Taiwan this role requires a technical expert with a broad breadth of security experience who likes to dive deep into tactical requirements and implementations as much as they enjoy developing a strategic road map. Tangible, hands-on experience in delivering large scale security projects within a major technical company is expected.
Major Responsibilites & Objectives
Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, the following:
- This role is responsible for designing, implementing and managing security measures to protect Coupang Taiwan’s data, systems and services from unauthorized access, use, disclosure, disruption, modification and destruction, and to ensure compliance requirements are met. They will work closely with other IT professionals, and data and product owners to ensure that data security is integrated into all aspects of Coupang Taiwan’s operations.
- Researches, designs, and implements cyber security solutions for Coupang systems and products that comply with all applicable security policies and standards
- Assists in the review and update of cyber security policies and standards
- Assists in responding to audits, penetration tests and vulnerability assessments
- Leverage internal, matrixed and external resources to deliver successfully
Background & Experience
- Bachelor/Masters/PhDs in Computer Science or Engineering, Information Security or a related field
- 10+ years of experience working in the field of security engineering
- A deep level of technical knowledge and hands-on experience in multiple security domains, including securing cloud-based environments
- Experience in leading large scale security solutions involving cross function teams, such as Platform or Infrastructure Security organization
- Proven track record of innovation in the security space
- Ability to build and lead a world class team in the security space
- Bilingual in Taiwanese Mandarin and English is preferred

Document Return Policy
- This notification is given pursuant to Article 11 (6) of the Fair Hiring Procedure Act.
