Taiwan Finance team is a finance business partner for Coupang Taiwan’s business teams. We own financial results by working with stakeholders to define & track business input/output metrics and improve them by performing root-cause analysis. We are hiring a Principal Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) focusing on Marketing (CRM) domain as the company’s Retail business is growing exponentially.
Role Overview
This position is a highly strategic CRM Finance role working in close partnership with marketing leaders. The role is to manage budget of CRM related activities such as promotions to boost sales for specific categories, to reactivate lapsed customers, etc. Depending on business situations, targets and promotion methods vary. As a budget controller, this position is to be required to examine ROI methods, drive decisions and track performance of each promotion/project to achieve total goals. Since CRM cost is managed together with marketing advertisement expenses, the role also contains the liaison between CRM leaders and Marketing leaders.
What You Will Do
- Need to understand CRM business and hold comprehensive budget control for CRM
- Own and drive analytics agenda for CRM operation. Identify risk and opportunities through CRM promotion performance analysis
- Have an excellent business sense and judgement and able to influence critical business decisions to maximize the efficiency of CRM promotions on his/her own discretion and know when to properly escalate to management
- Own and establish financial forecasting model that can enable to show precisely the current status of spending budget, attainment of topline goals and to reflect rapid changes of business requirements
Basic Qualifications
- 7-10 years of relevant experience in financial planning and analysis such as controlling budget of sales incentives, marketing activities (eCommerce preferred)
- Experience in leading and developing new financial reporting, models and tools
- Excellent communication skills and ability to partner with non-finance leaders
- Ability to communicate complex financial topics clearly and tell the business stories
- Strong Excel skills
- Strong analytical thinking. Be able to start with problem statement and arrive at data backed solutions
- Familiar with establishing and managing KPI such as NPV, IRR, ROI, ROAS, sensitivity analysis

- Experience of working in a fast-paced technology oriented organization
- SQL knowledge/skills
