Role Overview

The IT Governance and PMO specialist is a critical role in supporting growth in our organization, both managing and driving stability for our applications, by enabling end users to rapidly and successfully adapt products and technology to realize business value. This role will require partnering with peers, business stakeholders, software and services providers and colleagues within and outside the team, to maintain, support and improve the services, analyze and trouble shoot problems, identify, and automate frequently used administration activities.
This role will be instrumental in ensuring our IT operations align with our business objectives. As part of this team, you will be responsible for supporting the implementation of frameworks and processes to support both Enterprise corporate business objectives and IT transformation strategy. You will also develop, implement, and monitor reporting mechanisms for governance, security, and risk practices to support compliance and highlight areas of exposure. Building and maintaining close working relationships with business partners and ensuring alignment to group standards and policies.

What You Will Do

  • Develop and Implement IT governance and operational efficiencies to meet or exceed the Organization goals
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant IT regulations and standards
  • Identify risks and implement risk mitigation strategies
  • Ensure service delivery reliability and consistency for all aspects of IT Governance activities
  • Execute, develop, circulate the IT Governance frameworks and maintain it to ensure IT activities support enterprise business objectives
  • Develop, implement, and govern program management processes, tools, templates, policies, and metrics
  • Manage the risk, issue, and change resolution process, and work with other leaders to take corrective action as needed
  • Ensure contract compliance and reporting
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant policies, procedures, and regulations
  • Governing the knowledge base of IT

Basic Qualifications

  • Minimum of 7 years of diverse and relevant experience and Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent experience
  • Experience with performance metrics and measures, customer assessment, cost/benefit analysis, benchmarking, process mapping/simulations, data collection, problem identification.
  • In-depth knowledge of tools, concepts, methodologies and techniques of business process reengineering, change management.
  • Good presentation, verbal and written communications skills.
  • Diligent, resourceful and able to multitask in a dynamic, fast-paced work environment
  • Meticulous in planning and tracking.
  • Familiarity with tendering procedures and managing IT budgets would be an advantage.
  • Good command in English, Korean is preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 5+ years or more of project management and IT governance management.
  • Professional knowledge on multiple information technology domains.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into IT services and operations by writing down detailed implementation plan.
  • Working within a well-defined service management environment based around ITIL practices.
  • Experience of global matrix environment.

  • This notification is given pursuant to Article 11 (6) of the Fair Hiring Procedure Act.

In such case, within fourteen (14) days from the date of identifying the receipt of the request, the Company will send the hiring documents to the job applicant’s designated address via registered mail. Please be informed that the job applicant is required to pay the postage on the registered mail.
  • In preparation for a job applicant’s request for the return of hiring documents pursuant to the main sentence of paragraph 2 above, the Company shall retain the original hiring documents submitted by the job applicant for 180 days from the completion of the recruiting process. If no request is made until the end of this period, all of his/her hiring documents will be destroyed immediately in accordance with the Personal Information Protection Act.
  • Hiring may be restricted in case the legal qualifications required for hiring and work performance are not met.
