Taiwan Finance team is a finance business partner for Coupang Taiwan’s business teams. We own financial results by working with stakeholders to define & track business input/output metrics and improve them by performing root-cause analysis. We are hiring a Principal Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) focusing on Marketplace domain as our business grows exponentially. Also, the position will be a highly strategic Marketplace Finance role working in close partnership with marketplace business leaders. In this role you will be required to develop the operating and financial plan needed to achieve strategic plans and goals, drive decisions and track performance on growth, commissions, margins, cashflows and strategic initiatives. The role will also support modeling for new launches, supplier negotiations and customer analysis.

What you will do

• Jointly own the financial plan along with business unit leaders

• Forecast, track and update initiative analysis and modeling

• Call out the variances, identify root causes and come up with business solutions

• Define key KPIs and identify opportunities for improvement through predictive analysis to grasp target progress in real time and take timely actions

• Build aggressive improvement measures based on the current status of business and provide targets for the business team to achieve

• Analyze Data and Reporting

• Establish business strategies by extracting and processing data and ultimately support each domain leader to solve urgent and crucial issues

• Contribute to automatic report generation using business intelligence tools, to be utilized as part of a continuous efficiency improvement program

Basic qualifications

• 7-10 years of financial planning and analysis experience in progressive roles

• Marketplace FP&A experience (required)

• Strong Excel and SQL skills (required)

• Highly analytical, detail-oriented, strong business sense, and willingness to work within a fast-paced and growing environment

• Experience in leading and developing new financial processes, models and tools

• Excellent communication skills and ability to partner with non-finance leaders

• Fluent in English and traditional Mandarin (written and verbal)

Preferred Qualifications

• MBA or Master’s degree with specialization in Finance

• Tableau, Power BI
