What You Will Do :
As a Lead Data Analyst at Coupang Ads, you will be responsible for the following tasks:
- Provide data analysis and business insights to increase new customer acquisition and early life success by utilizing data from Coupang Ads Group. Lead efforts to create actionable insights to answer business questions, drive decisions, and develop recommendations to improve operations.
- Define and drive business intelligence and visualization strategy and roadmap.
- Present analysis and recommendations to senior leaders, using data-driven storytelling and influence to drive improvements in business operations and strategic change. Strong ability to author clear narrative with evidence that supports conclusions.
- Work with key business stakeholders to understand requirements and proactively develop analytical solutions as well understand the approach to driving adoption with end user teams. Collaborate and partner with stakeholders to understand, anticipate, and respond to current and future information needs.
- Lead the creation of key business metrics, drive the vision and building of automated dashboards and self-service analytic capabilities, and engineer data-driven processes that drive business value.
- Own the design, development, maintenance, and automation of ongoing metrics, reports, analyses, dashboards, etc. to drive key business decisions.
- Develop predictive analytics to help business teams prioritise activities; measure the impact and incrementality of recommendations over time and develop approaches to improve recommendation accuracy
- Adopt best practices in reporting and analysis: data integrity, test design, analysis, validation, and documentation.
- Help junior team members prioritise work, ensure quality and actionability of deliverables
Qualifications:
- Have a bachelor's degree or higher and have completed a related major such as mathematics or statistics
- 8+ years of data analysis and practical experience
- Strong skillset in data processing/extraction/analysis/reporting using SQL + (R or Python)
- Strong experience of using data visualization tools – Tableau, PowerBI
- Experience in establishing and verifying hypotheses using various analysis techniques, and solving problems by making logical inferences and deriving insights based on the results.
- Experience leading projects by collaborating with various stakeholders and departments. Communicating data, insights and ‘so what’ clearly
- Experience of managing an overall team’s roadmap as well as the day to day activities and prioritization of junior team members
- Experience of helping junior resources develop their skillset and grow
