Role Overview
Eats Finance works in close partnership with Coupang Eats business leaders across all functions. The team is responsible for developing the operating and financial plan required to achieve strategic plans and goals, drive value-adding decisions and track performance on growth, margins, and cashflows. The team also supports modeling for new product launches, negotiations and customer analysis.
This role will report into the Sales and Marketing FP&A Director and will act as a finance partner to help drive decision-making with sales and marketing leaders in a way that will help the company achieve its financial and growth goals. The role is highly analytical, with a focus on fostering collaboration across stakeholders, challenging status-quo, and encouraging open dialogue.
Responsibilities
- Be responsible for a multi-billion dollar P&L providing deliverables on cost-related items
- Work with business partners across Sales, Marketing, CS and Product to drive improvement with the Eats experience & ecosystem
- Dive Deep with the end-to-end food delivery service (couriers and product) to explore performance trends, identify root causes and provide business solutions
- Financial Reporting, Planning & Analysis – i) Provide regular forecasts & different financial views to our business leaders; ii) Actual performance vs target variance analysis with bridge accompanied; and iii) Work close with business functions to facilitate stronger cost optimization
- With iterative-thinking, define key KPIs & guardrails to improve business performance efficiency & product launches
- Develop and automate analytics reporting through business intelligence tools + improve and maintain existing dashboards
- Quickly adapt to the changing needs of the business and exercise critical thinking to drive innovative solutions for the business
Basic qualifications
- 6+ years experience in finance or strategy-related roles (tech/online sector, banking/accounting and consulting)
- Expertise in financial modeling (pricing simulations, cost-benefit and ROI analysis) and Excel
- Analytical thinking and hard skills: SQL and dashboard creation
- Adept at communication and working cross-functionally

- Document Return Policy
