Role Overview

The EDM Lead is responsible for overseeing the strategic management and governance of enterprise data. Ensures data quality, security, and accessibility across the organization, enabling informed decision-making and operational efficiency.

What You Will Do

Leadership & Strategy:

  • Develop and implement an enterprise data strategy aligned with business goals.
  • Drive process improvements and influence organizational changes.

Data Governance & Quality:

  • Establish and enforce data governance policies and procedures.
  • Ensure data quality and integrity across all data sources.
  • Conduct data profiling and analysis to support business intelligence efforts.

Collaboration & Communication:

  • Work closely with business stakeholders and IT teams to identify data management needs.
  • Partner with data owners to understand data elements and their business definitions.
  • Maintain documentation for data management processes and standards.

Technical Support:

  • Oversee data stewardship activities, including data model reviews and validation.
  • Resolve complex data-related issues and determine root causes.
  • Ensure optimal data consumption by enterprise applications.

Basic Qualifications

  • Proficiency in SAP, S4HANA within the context of data governance and quality
  • Experience in BI/Data tools like Informatica or Snowflake is desirable.
  • Knowledge of data privacy and security tools (like encryption/decryption) and experience in implementation of such tools is a must.
  • Proven experience in data management, data governance, or a related field.
  • Experience with data quality tools and data profiling techniques.
  • Experience of loading hierarchies related to workflows, BP master data, Banks and familiarity with BPC and related data structures in BPC would be highly desirable.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of data governance practices and enterprise information management.
  • Proficiency in SQL and other data discovery tools.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Programming knowledge on API’s is optional.
  • BTP knowledge is optional.
  • Experience on Data governance within a S/4HANA context is highly preferred

  • In preparation for a job applicant’s request for the return of hiring documents pursuant to the main sentence of paragraph 2 above, the Company shall retain the original hiring documents submitted by the job applicant for 180 days from the completion of the recruiting process. If no request is made until the end of this period, all of his/her hiring documents will be destroyed immediately in accordance with the Personal Information Protection Act.
