Key Responsibilities
- Support product compliance management of relevant business projects with basic knowledge in the field to develop compliance and quality requirements all products categories.
- Coordinate compliance requirement implementing activities in active interaction with stakeholders in Coupang.
- Monitor regulatory trend and report to Senior Manager, support updating checklist for onboarding QC per operational and business needs.
- Make report on product compliance/quality performance for developing better procedures.
- Organize regular training for colleagues, relevant workshops and seminars on up-to-date compliance requirement.
- Collect data to improve the compliance of the products in sale, root cause analysis, corrective action / preventive action, and other processes.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required with a Science or Engineering focus.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience with product compliance and quality program management.
- Basic knowledge of product compliance and quality requirement in consumer products industry.
- Solid attention to detail and good written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to understand the internal and external cross-functional teams with members that are mixture of technical and non-technical professionals.
- Practical, common sense approach to getting things done in timely manner.
- Ability to work independently and autonomously with eagerness to learn.
- Must be able to think creatively and possess problem-solving skills
- Must be able to use Excel, Word, and other common desktop software applications.
Preferred Qualifications
- Good knowledge with product regulations in Korean marketplace.
- Previous experience in fast-paced online consumer retail operations.
- Experience in collaboration, influencing, and negotiations related to conformity management.
- Eagerness to thrive in a high energy environment where tactical and strategic activities are driven in parallel.
- A mix of regulatory compliance and project management supporting experience with Private Label products.
- Creative thinking skills with emphasis on developing better solutions to solve new problems.
- Presentation and training delivery experience.
- Fluent (verbal and written) in Korean and English.

Document Return Policy
- This notification is given pursuant to Article 11 (6) of the Fair Hiring Procedure Act.
- A job applicant, who has applied but not been finally selected for a position at Coupang (the “Company”), may request the Company to return his/her hiring documents submitted pursuant to the Fair Hiring Procedure Act. In addition, if the hiring documents were destroyed due to a natural disaster or any other reasons not attributable to the Company, such documents will be deemed to have been returned to the job applicant.
- A job applicant who wishes to request the return of his/her hiring documents pursuant to the main sentence of paragraph 2 above should fill out a “Request for Return of Hiring Documents” [Annex Form No. 3 in the Enforcement Rule of the Fair Hiring Procedure Act] and submit It by email (recruitingops@coupang.com). In such case, within fourteen (14) days from the date of identifying the receipt of the request, the Company will send the hiring documents to the job applicant’s designated address via registered mail.
