Role Overview – Director, Growth Analytics

As the Director of Growth Analytics, you will play a critical role in shaping Coupang Taiwan's marketing strategy by leveraging data, analytics and experimentation. You will lead a high performance team focussed on measuring marketing effectiveness, optimizing performance marketing investments and driving Customer retention through advanced analytics and data science innovation.

This role requires a strong mix of business acumen and statistical expertise, with hands-on experience in marketing analytics, incrementality testing and large scale performance marketing measurement. You will work cross functionally with marketing product, engineering and channel teams to drive data driven improvements across CRM, paid marketing and customer engagement strategies.

What You Will Do

  1. Lead marketing measurement and incrementality testing
  2. Oversee performance marketing spend allocation
  3. Drive improvements in CRM and retention analytics
  4. Work on optimizing search, google shopping and paid social ads using advanced analytics and in-house data platforms
  5. Enhance search and discoverability analytics to optimize paid search, seo and on-site conversion
  6. Collaborate with data science and engineering to to develop advanced predictive models, bidding algorithms to improve targeting and marketing efficiency
  7. Ensure integrity, accuracy and consistency of marketing data
  8. Optimize marketing database structure to enable faster report generation, reduce bottlenecks in analytics workflows and automating jobs
  9. Establish and maintain governance processes for reporting to minimize inconsistencies and improve reliability
  10. Develop a self service analytics framework ensuring that each channel team has dedicated dashboards and reporting structures
  11. Partner with business and product teams to translate insights into actionable growth experiments
  12. Define and standardize experimentation frameworks across meta, google and other channels
  13. Mentor and lead a team of analysts and data scientists fostering a culture of analytical excellence, experimentation and continuous learning

Qualifications

  1. 10+ Years in Growth / Marketing Analytics or performance marketing optimization preferably in e-commerce, tech or consumer tech businesses
  2. Proven experience in managing large scale performance marketing spends
  3. Strong statistical background with experience in A/B testing, experimental design, regression analysis, causal inference and data modelling
  4. Experience in working with data infrastructure, SQL optimization, and data engineering principles
  5. Hands on experience in data science applications in performance marketing
  6. Experience in working with marketing platforms like Google Ads, facebook Ads, DV360, AppsFlyer, Branch etc
  7. Proven ability to build and automate dashboards
