Position: Security and Loss Prevention Specialist

This role involves developing and implementing comprehensive security strategies to protect Coupang employees, assets, operations and fulfillment centers in Taiwan.
The S&LP Specialist must have a solid understanding of supply chain security operations including electronic security systems, access control management, guard operations, incident/accident response, vendor management, protective operations, and emergency preparedness.
This position will report to Coupang Security and Loss Prevention Manager.

Key job responsibilities

  • Ensuring a safe environment through a team effort of diligent active patrol, strict access control, monitoring, and equipment control.
  • Responding to security incidents and investigations with systematic thinking.
  • Writing reports on security incidents, system anomalies, and other security-related matters.
  • Conducting testing and maintaining security systems, such as alarms, security devices, and cameras.
  • Developing and implementing plans to mitigate security risks.
  • Promoting security awareness among employees and visitors.
  • Premise access management for internal staff, new hires and visitors.
  • Coordinating closely with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Assisting with new FC preparation, milestone tracking and launch support.
  • Supporting SLP managers as required.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Security, Government, or related field.
  • 2+ years of professional experience in supply chain security operations/management
  • Experience in guard management and personal protection.
  • Understanding of ASIS, ISO and other international standards that guide security operations.
  • Experience in reviewing vendor performance and ensuring service level agreements are met.
  • Ability to handle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in threat management, risk management, and/or emergency management.
  • Effective written and oral communication skills (in English a plus).
  • Strong computer and technology skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite application.
