Position : Manager, Catalog Listing Compliance Operations

As the Manager of Catalog Listing Compliance Operations, you will lead the frontline enforcement of Coupang’s product listing policy and manage a team responsible for identifying and addressing violations. You will work closely with policy owners, tech, and seller-facing teams to drive process improvements, minimize defective listings, and elevate marketplace quality.

What will you do?

• Oversee the daily review of product listings to detect and correct policy violations.
• Implement corrective actions, including seller notifications and listing removal.
• Manage communication and enforcement for sellers with repeated or critical violations.
• Monitor and ensure accurate product catalog information is displayed to customers.
• Collaborate with BI, legal, and policy teams to continuously improve detection logic and policy coverage.
• Drive automation opportunities and operational efficiency across the team.
• Lead training and knowledge building initiatives across regional compliance teams.

Essential Qualifications:

• Customer-Centric Mindset: Demonstrates strong ownership in identifying listing issues that negatively affect the customer experience and resolving them effectively.
• Sense of Urgency: Able to take quick and precise action to mitigate policy violations and protect marketplace integrity.
• Operational Grit: Committed to delivering measurable results through process improvement, team leadership, and data-driven execution.
• People Leadership: Proven experience in managing teams, coaching performance, and fostering operational excellence.
• Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze catalog data and violation trends to drive preventive measures.
• Cross-Functional Communication: Able to work across teams and communicate clearly with both internal stakeholders and external sellers.
• 6 years of experience in e-commerce, operations, policy enforcement, or catalog management.
• Strong understanding of product listing and content quality issues in online marketplaces.
• Familiarity with Korea marketplace operations or local seller behaviors is a plus.
• Bilingual in Korean and English is preferred.
