Job Description

Compliance & Auditing

• Conduct routine and unannounced EHS audits during operational shifts to ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
• Identify and document non-compliance issues, recommend corrective actions, and track resolutions.
• Ensure adherence to Taiwan’s occupational health and safety laws, supporting regulatory inspections as needed.
• Assist in incident investigations, root cause analysis, and the implementation of corrective actions.

Risk Assessment & Mitigation

• Perform hazard identification and risk assessments in high-risk work areas.
• Recommend and implement safety improvements to reduce workplace incidents.
• Monitor and ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs).

Employee Engagement & Training

• Partner with frontline leaders and associates to promote a proactive safety culture.
• Deliver EHS training sessions to educate employees on safe work practices and emergency procedures.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to operations teams, providing guidance on workplace safety improvements.

Shift-Based Safety Support

• Be actively present on the floor during shifts to observe and address safety concerns in real-time.
• Act as the go-to safety expert for frontline employees, fostering open communication and trust.
• Lead safety stand-ups, toolbox talks, and shift safety briefings.

Data Collection & Reporting

• Track and analyze safety performance metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement.
• Prepare reports on audit findings, compliance status, and incident trends.
• Support the development and execution of EHS initiatives based on data insights.

Qualifications

Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in EHS roles, preferably in logistics, manufacturing, or warehouse operations.
• Strong knowledge of Taiwan’s workplace safety regulations and compliance requirements.
• Experience conducting audits and driving compliance in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent relationship management and communication skills, with the ability to influence employees at all levels.
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings and weekends, as required by operational needs.

Preferred:

• Certification in workplace safety or occupational health (e.g., NEBOSH, CSP, or local equivalent).
• Experience with EHS digital tools and real-time safety monitoring solutions.
• Previous experience in a multinational or high-growth environment.
• Bilingual proficiency in Mandarin and English.
