Position Title: Supply Chain Asset Protection Investigator

Coupang Global Security (CGS) is looking for an adaptable, high-judgment, curious and self-motivated Supply Chain Asset Protection (SCAP) Investigator to manage product loss incidents and assets leakages within the supply chain.

The SCAP Investigator will help protect Coupang assets and operations in Taiwan by reviewing incidents and identify loss and violations of the company policies and procedures in Taiwan, this role will focus on data analytics and support the SCAP Manager in handling product theft and fraud cases across the first mile (fulfillment centers) and last mile (delivery stations). The Supply Chain Asset Protection Investigator must have a solid understanding of supply chain and logistics processes, security operations, data analysis, interview skills and report writing.
This position will report to the Global Director of Supply Chain Asset Protection (SCAP).

What you'll do:

  • Support the SCAP Manager with the mapping of the loss for Taiwan supply chain.
  • Working closely with Finance Planning & Account (FP&A) and Inventory Control Quality Assessment (ICQA), collect, analyze, and interpret data related to supply chain operations.
  • Identify trends, anomalies, and potential risks through data analysis.
  • Propose and generate ad-hoc reports to support ongoing investigations and preventive strategies.
  • Provide analytical support to the SCAP Manager during investigations.
  • Develop data models to predict and prevent theft and fraud incidents.
  • Assist the SCAP Manager in compiling evidence and documentation for case resolution.
  • Work closely with the SCAP Manager to ensure seamless integration of data insights into investigative processes.
  • Coordinate with other departments to gather relevant data and information.
  • Participate in regular SCAP team meetings to discuss findings and strategize preventive measures.
  • Experienced in internet space and capable of succeeding in a fast-paced team environment.
  • Be prepared to be flexible with working hours, including weekend.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree (master’s degree preferred) in Business, Security, Finance, Criminal Law, or related field.
  • 3+ years of professional experience in asset protection, supply chain and/or data analysis,
  • Excellent communication skills in Mandarin,
  • Effective written and verbal communication in English.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate complex issues concisely to both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, including the ability to recognize non-obvious patterns.
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. Skills in Tableau and Power BI a plus.
  • Solid working knowledge of current security technologies, supply chain and inventory management systems.
  • Ability to work in a team and to maintain high levels of confidentiality and data security standards.
  • Flexibility to work at multiple locations within Taiwan.
