Position Title: Logistics Architect Specialist

What you will do:

Warehouse Design & Optimization

• Design and develop logistic warehouse layouts, including racking systems, material flow, and storage strategies.
• Conduct simulations and modeling to optimize space utilization, throughput, and labor efficiency.
• Define technical specifications for warehouse equipment (e.g., conveyors, AS/RS, forklifts, robotics).

Process Engineering & Improvement

• Analyze existing warehouse processes and identify areas for improvement using Lean, Six Sigma, or Kaizen methodologies.
• Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for warehouse operations.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives to reduce costs and improve service levels.

Technology Integration

• Collaborate with IT and automation vendors to implement WMS (Warehouse Management Systems), TMS (Transportation Management Systems), and IoT solutions.
• Evaluate and integrate automation technologies such as AGVs, RFID, and warehouse robotics.
• Ensure system interoperability and data accuracy across platforms.

Project Management

• Lead end-to-end logistic warehouse development projects, from concept to go-live.
• Manage budgets, timelines, and cross-functional teams including engineering, procurement, and operations.
• Conduct risk assessments and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

Stakeholder Collaboration

• Work closely with supply chain planners, logistics providers, and operations teams to align warehouse capabilities with business needs.
• Provide technical guidance and training to warehouse staff and junior engineers.

Essential Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in warehouse design, logistics engineering, or supply chain operations.
• Proven track record in implementing warehouse automation and digital transformation projects.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or similar design tools.
• Strong knowledge of WMS/TMS platforms (e.g., SAP EWM, Manhattan, Oracle).
• Familiarity with Lean Six Sigma methodologies (certification preferred).
• Excellent analytical, project management, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with greenfield or brownfield warehouse projects.
• Knowledge of sustainability practices in warehouse design.
• Multinational or regional logistics experience.

Working Conditions:

• Hybrid work environment with travel to logistic sites as needed.
• May require occasional extended hours during project roll-outs.
