Position: Health and Wellbeing Specialist

What will you do?

Employee Health & Medical Support:

  • Provide professional nursing care and first aid to employees in case of workplace injurie or illnesses.
  • Conduct health assessments and medical screenings to monitor employee well-being.
  • Offer counseling and health education to employees on occupational health risks and preventive measures.
  • Maintain confidentiality of employee health records in compliance with regulatory and company policies.

Workplace Health & Safety Compliance:

  • Ensure compliance with all occupational health regulations and guidelines established by Taiwan's labor and health authorities.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain occupational health programs aligned with local legal requirements.
  • Support safety teams by assessing workplace conditions and recommending improvements to minimize health risks.
  • Collaborate with government agencies during audits, inspections, and regulatory reviews.

Health Risk Assessments & Preventive Measures:

  • Conduct health risk assessments, including ergonomic evaluations and exposure monitoring.
  • Identify potential workplace health hazards and implement measures to mitigate risks.
  • Partner with EHS teams to design and implement health surveillance programs for high-risk job roles.
  • Provide recommendations on workplace modifications to enhance employee health and safety.

Training & Employee Wellness Programs:

  • Develop and conduct health awareness training on topics such as ergonomics, disease prevention, stress management, and first aid.
  • Lead employee wellness initiatives to promote a healthy work environment and reduce absenteeism.
  • Coordinate vaccination and medical check-up programs for employees as required by local regulations.
  • Assist in emergency response planning, including CPR and first aid training sessions.

Incident Management & Reporting:

  • Investigate workplace health incidents, document findings, and recommend corrective actions.
  • Maintain accurate health and safety records, including incident reports and medical documentation.
  • Provide reports and analysis on workplace health trends to senior management.
  • Collaborate with HR and safety teams to develop return-to-work programs for employees recovering from injuries or illnesses.

Required Qualifications

  • Certified Nurse (RN) with valid credentials in Taiwan.
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
  • Minimum of 5 years or experience in occupational health, corporate healthcare, or a related medical field.
  • Strong knowledge of Taiwan's workplace health regulations and occupational health standards.
  • Experience conducting health risk assessments and medical screenings.
  • Ability to provide first aid, emergency medical support, and health education to employees.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across teams.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced certification in Occupational Health Nursing or Public Health.
  • Experience in an industrial, logistics, or manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of ergonomic assessment tools and workplace health promotion programs.
  • Familiarity with medical case management and employee wellness program development.
  • Bilingual proficiency in Mandarin and English.
