We're seeking an experienced System Engineer to manage and integrate client engineering tools, focusing on Mac and Windows environments. The ideal candidate will be a subject matter expert in system engineering, with hands-on experience with tools like Jamf, ManageEngine and CrowdStrike. This role requires strong technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and excellent communication abilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and integrate client engineering tools, including:
- ManageEngine (Desktop Central, Asset Explorer)
- CrowdStrike (Falcon Insight, Falcon Prevent)
- Other client engineering tools (e.g., SCCM, Intune, Jamf)
- Develop and maintain technical documentation for client engineering tools and processes
- Troubleshoot complex issues with client devices, servers, and networks
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure seamless integration of client engineering tools with existing infrastructure
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to improve client engineering processes
- Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and IT staff
- Ensure compliance with company IT policies, procedures, and standards
Qualifications:
- 5-7 years of experience in system engineering, preferably in a large-scale environment
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Technical certifications (e.g., MCSE, CompTIA Server+, CompTIA Security+)
- Strong knowledge of Mac and Windows client operating systems, System servers, Networking fundamentals & Client engineering tools and technologies
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
- Knowledge of IT service management frameworks (e.g., ITIL)
- Experience with automation tools (e.g., PowerShell, Python, Ansible)
- Familiarity with cybersecurity best practices and threat management
