Description:
Coupang Fulfillment Services (CFS) is looking for a FC Site Leader for a new fully automated Fresh FC; in this role you will be responsible for the startup and full operational management of the new FC, performing a full range of standard work for the FC Operations. Other responsibilities include identifying and solving complex problems, strategic partner management, cross-functional stakeholder alignment, and leadership development of assigned managers. This role requires a high-level of ownership over the end-to-end process, the ability to think outside of the box, and influence stakeholders.
It is an exciting opportunity to start from scratch and successfully deliver the FC, involving automation projects. This position is based in Seoul, South Korea.

Key responsibilities:
• Leading the day-to-day operations, specifically material handling systems (Shuttle System, mini load etc.).
• Responsible for the planning, management, and execution of highly complex material handling systems.
• Solid understanding of the dynamic characteristics, constraints and risks associated with the wide range of materials handled within a complex system.
• Performing complex technical interchange and knowledge transfer for both processes and application of products.
• Development and execution of equipment, subsystem, system commissioning and integration test plans.
• Execution of general processes associated with change control involving several stakeholders, both internal and external.
• Solving technical problems either individually or through collaboration.
• Managing complex automation projects with regards to customer satisfaction, schedule, time, and budget.
• Completing the commissioning of complex systems that integrate hardware and software.

Essential Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree: Computer Science or Mechanical/ Electrical / Industrial Engineering preferred.
• Extensive experience with a warehouse / fulfillment center operation.
• Excellent computer skills, with MS Office products.
• Demonstrated ability to apply a broad knowledge of field specializations through successful completion of complex assignments.
• Minimum 5 years of successful experience in a related field.
• Excellent problem solving and time management skills.
• Previous experience with SSI Schaefer System is a plus.
• 2D or 3D CAD experience (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, etc.) is preferred.
