About the Rocket Growth

Rocket Growth (RG) is a program that helps sellers leverage Coupang’s best in class rocket delivery and fulfillment network to serve customers and grow their business. With Rocket Growth, sellers are eligible to earn the rocket badge, thereby accelerating their sales, and providing customers with rocket-speed delivery for their items. Rocket Growth customers also get Coupang’s world-class customer service, including free shipping and returns for WoW members. It is Coupang's fastest-growing team, with an ambitious product and feature roadmap in the works. About the Team

The Rocket Growth Self-Service Team empowers sellers to grow independently by providing scalable, data-driven solutions. The Sales Team Manager plays a dual role: leading a traditional e-commerce sales team and collaborating with developers, POs, and PMs to improve the self-service product based on insights gained from sales interactions. This role requires strategic thinking, cross-functional collaboration, and a strong data-driven mindset. Additionally, the ideal candidate will demonstrate a proactive attitude, consistently proposing new ideas and identifying opportunities to improve team operations and product experience.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Lead and manage the sales team to achieve performance targets.
  2. Identifyseller needs and generate actionable insights to improve the self-service environment Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Engineering, PO, PM) to enhance product features
  3. Analyze and deep dive on Seller data to clearly understand the root-cause of reasons for not adopting programs and uncover growth opportunities and drive seller success

  4. Coach team members and manage team performance
  5. Proactively suggestnew ideas and improvements based on team and business needs

Qualifications

  1. Minimum5years of experience in managing e-commerce sales teams.
  2. Proven experience in cross-functional project collaboration
  3. Strong analytical skills and data-driven decision-making.
  4. Business-level Englishproficiency
  5. Proactive mindset witha strong sense of ownership and initiative

Preferred Qualifications

  1. Experience in self-service product or platform development
  2. Track record of building data-driven sales strategies
  3. Experience working in global or multicultural environments
