Role Overview
The Manager of Business Planning for Rocket Growth Sales drives business growth through data-driven strategy and planning. This role is pivotal in supporting the organic growth of existing business while identifying key opportunities and strategic direction by evaluating potential, resources, and products. You will conduct multi-faceted reviews of weekly and monthly performance (by channel, organization, and seller) to diagnose business trajectory and proactively raise critical issues. Leveraging strong analytical skills and strategic thinking, you will use effective communication and financial analysis to influence key decisions and propose actionable alternatives across the entire Rocket Growth organization.
What You Will Do
- Develop and implement Go-To-Market strategies in collaboration with the sales team and Rocket Growth leadership team based on opportunity analysis
- Set KPI goals such as sales targets and sales activity volume, monitor indicators for achieving those goals, and propose improvement actions
- Lead and facilitate discussions between the Rocket Growth leadership team and sales leaders to achieve mid- to long-term goals
- Improve sales productivity by identifying issues in current targets, proposing improvement measures, and implementing them
- Uncover trends and correlations through business analysis to develop insights that can help stakeholders make effective decisions
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a related analytical field (e.g., Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science).
- 7+ years of total experience in Business Planning, Finance, or a related analytical field.
- 7+ years of experience building business and operational reports or datasets to support decision-making.
- Proven experience in forecasting, variance analysis, and interpreting data-driven results.
- Business-level fluency in English. (Must in Korean)
Preferred Qualifications
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment, applying deep problem-solving skills.
- Experience leading financial projects, improving processes, or contributing to strategic decision-making.
- Expertise in business planning, KPI setting, initiative reporting, and performance analysis.
- Proven ability to solve complex business challenges through accurate and timely financial modeling, analysis, and recommendations that drive measurable impact (e.g., business growth, operational improvements).
- Experience working cross-functionally with a wide range of business roles, stakeholders, and leadership.

Document Return Policy
- This notification is given pursuant to Article 11 (6) of the Fair Hiring Procedure Act.
- A job applicant, who has applied but not been finally selected for a position at Coupang (the “Company”), may request the Company to return his/her hiring documents submitted pursuant to the Fair Hiring Procedure Act. However, this will not apply where the hiring documents were submitted via the website of the Company or e-mail, or where the job applicant submitted those documents voluntarily without a request from the Company. In addition, if the hiring documents were destroyed due to a natural disaster or any other reasons not attributable to the Company, such documents will be deemed to have been returned to the job applicant.
- A job applicant who wishes to request the return of his/her hiring documents pursuant to the main sentence of paragraph 2 above should fill out a “Request for Return of Hiring Documents” [Annex Form No. 3 in the Enforcement Rule of the Fair Hiring Procedure Act] and submit It by email (recruitingops@coupang.com). In such case, within fourteen (14) days from the date of identifying the receipt of the request, the Company will send the hiring documents to the job applicant’s designated address via registered mail. Please be informed that the job applicant is required to pay the postage on the registered mail.
- In preparation for a job applicant’s request for the return of hiring documents pursuant to the main sentence of paragraph 2 above, the Company shall retain the original hiring documents submitted by the job applicant for 180 days from the completion of the recruiting process. If no request is made until the end of this period, all his/her hiring documents will be destroyed immediately in accordance with the Personal Information Protection Act.
- The above paragraphs 1 - 4 shall only apply when the labor-related laws of Korea govern the application. They are otherwise not applicable.
