Product Sourcing and Supplier Management

Conduct market research to identify trending and in-demand products to capture the sales opportunity in the market.

Source new suppliers overseas, ensuring product quality and cost-effectiveness.

Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to secure favorable pricing, payment terms, and supply reliability.
Buying and Negotiation

Develop and execute buying strategies aligned with sales goals and inventory needs.

Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers to ensure the best possible terms for pricing, delivery schedules, and returns.

Monitor supplier performance, ensuring timely order fulfillment and adherence to quality standards.
Product Line Development

Curate product assortments that meet customer preferences and trends.

Stay updated on global market trends and competitor offerings to refine the product portfolio.

Evaluate the performance of purchased products and adjust buying strategies accordingly.
Operational and Process Management

Manage purchase orders, shipping arrangements, and import documentation to ensure smooth operations.

Coordinate with compliance, logistics and customs teams to ensure compliance with import regulations and timely delivery.

Maintain accurate records of buying activities and prepare regular reports for management review.
Essential Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, International Trade, or related fields.

8+ years of experience in buying or procurement, preferably in the e-commerce or retail industry.

Proactive and results-oriented mindset with excellent organizational abilities. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.

Strong negotiation skills and the ability to secure advantageous terms from suppliers.

Knowledge of global sourcing, product trends, and supplier evaluation processes.

Familiarity with import regulations and customs processes.

Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL) for decision-making.

Fluent in both written and spoken Chinese and English. Proficiency in additional languages (e.g., Japanese, Korean) is an advantage.
