This role requires strong technical execution capabilities (non-negotiable) in managing, locating, and governing enterprise data across systems, combined with the ability to own data control frameworks, and drive governance best practices. The ideal candidate will bring a blend of strong technical data handling (primary focus) and data governance (secondary but important), ensuring secure, compliant, and efficient management of (Exchange, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive), Power BI, Atlassian Suite, and cloud platforms.</p> </li> <li> <p>Execute advanced data discovery, search, and retrieval across systems to identify, analyze, and take action on enterprise data.</p> </li> <li> <p>Perform data lifecycle operations including classification, preservation & remediation aligned with compliance requirements.</p> </li> <li> <p>Develop deep understanding of enterprise data ecosystems—where data resides, flows, and how it is accessed.</p> </li> <li> <p>Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to collaboration platforms and data access.</p> </li> <li> <p>Support investigations, audits, and regulatory requests through targeted data retrieval and analysis.</p> </li> <li> <p>Automate data processes and workflows using PowerShell, Script Runner, Webhooks.</p> </li> </ul> <ul> <li> <p>Own and drive data governance, data control, and information lifecycle management frameworks across platforms.</p> </li> <li> <p>Implement and manage data protection, retention, and monitoring mechanisms.</p> </li> <li> <p>Administer and provide oversight of Microsoft 365 compliance controls (e.g., retention, eDiscovery, permissions governance).</p> </li> <li> <p>Partner with Compliance, Legal, Security, and Technology teams to ensure company policy requirement</p> </li> <li> <p>Lead audits, reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives related to data handling practices.</p> </li> <li> <p>Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Data Management, Governance & M365 Controls.</p> </li> search, and collaboration platforms.</p> </li> <li> <p>Strong hands-on expertise in:</p> </li> <ul> <li> <p>Microsoft 365 ecosystem (Exchange, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, Azure AD, Power BI)</p> </li> <li> <p>Enterprise data discovery and search techniques</p> </li> <li> <p>Large-scale data repositories and structured/unstructured data handling</p> </li> </ul> <li> <p>Proven ability in data lifecycle management (classification, retention, remediation, deletion).</p> </li> <li> <p>Strong technical troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills.</p> </li> </ul> <p>Technical Depth
