As a Population Health Strategy & Operations Senior Manager, you will focus on the operational effectiveness of our Population Health programs. The ideal candidate balances long-term strategic thinking with deep operational expertise and is motivated by execution. Think of this role as the key operating partner for our Population Health businesses - you will lead team meetings, drive focus around key priorities, track daily and weekly metrics of business performance, and drop in deep across the team on key initiatives. You will turn messy, cross-functional work into actionable plans, leverage AI to drive team efficiency (including, and especially, ours!), and conduct deep-dive operational assessments to identify and implement efficiency drivers. This role is an individual contributor reporting to the Senior Director, Population Health Strategy & Operations.

Responsibilities:

    • Lead Operational Testing & Experiments: Drive ops testing for Care & Case Management (CCM) and navigation teams, including things like AI calling pilots, abbreviated intake pilots, and deep assessments to improve operational value

    • Manage Cross-Functional Projects: Turn cross-functional work into owned, executed plans. Drive audit, transition, and staffing workstreams. Manage project timelines, milestones, and KPIs

    • Data-Driven Reporting: Own daily and weekly business readouts for the CCM business and ensure metrics and reporting remain accurate and honest. Work closely with our data team to ensure the right visibility into the metrics we need, and finding the correct leading indicators as needed for operational changes

    • Leadership Support: Lead daily huddles for the CCM leadership team and act as a connection point between clinical services

    • Operational Deep Dives: Conduct deep dives into team operations—including shadowing our navigation, and CCM teams—to determine where bottlenecks exist and develop tests to resolve these issues. Become the business expert on how those teams operate and where their challenges are

    • Population Health Strategy: Own the executions of key Population Health margin projects (e.g., by developing strategies for secondary clinician utilization and overall clinical operations improvement)

    • Uplevel Team with AI: Identify opportunities to make the team more efficient and effective through the use of AI productivity tools and automation

    • Product Partnership: Be the voice of operations for the Population Health team in meetings with our EPDD partners. Work especially closely with our product partners to develop the right new product features that will work with how our teams need to operate in order to drive outcomes (and margin)

    • Risk Mitigation: Anticipate program risks and develop mitigation strategies; identify potential risks and assess their impact on projects

Required Qualifications:

    • At least seven years of experience in a fast-growing business managing cross-functional projects

    • Operationally minded: proven ability to analyze a process, identify logjams, and develop tests to resolve issues

    • Strong modeling skills: proficiency in Excel to build robust models

    • Proficiency with AI productivity tools to enhance efficiency, streamline workflows, and accelerate deliverables

    • Ability to organize, delegate, coordinate, consolidate and prioritize multiple simultaneous tasks in a team environment

    • Willingness and ability to provide mentoring, coaching, advice, and assistance to employees in a collaborative learning environment

    • Excellent oral and written communications skills

    • Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills

    • Comfort with data analysis (experience with Looker preferred)

    • Healthcare experience preferred

    • Bachelor’s degree required

    • Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills

Physical/Cognitive Requirements:

    • Ability to remain seated in a stationary position for prolonged periods.

    • Requires eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity sufficient to operate keyboard, computer and other office-related equipment.

    • No heavy lifting is expected, though occasional exertion of about 20 lbs. of force (e.g., lifting a computer / laptop) may be required.

    • Ability to interact with leadership, employees, and members in an appropriate manner.

    • Occasional travel required
