The Sponsor Bank Relationship Manager is a key role within our organization, responsible for managing relationships with our Sponsor Banks and partnering with Socure's sales organization to develop, scale, and grow accounts which are tied to Sponsor Banks. This position acts as a trusted advisor to Sponsor Banks, establishes strong relationships throughout the bank's organization, and plays a crucial role in identifying expansion and up-sell opportunities, renewing enterprise customer contracts, and managing sponsor bank relationships. The ideal candidate will be adept at managing complex enterprise accounts, coordinating technical resources, and driving revenue growth through effective relationship management and compliance alignment.


  • Partner with our Direct and Channel Sales Teams to develop, scale, and grow our post-sales Account Management function

  • Act as a trusted advisor to Sponsor Bank Fintech’s and successfully establish relationships throughout the customer’s organization

  • Identify expansion and up-sell opportunities, new use cases, and play a key role in renewing enterprise customer contracts through strong sponsor bank partnerships

  • Manage time-to-revenue timelines following contract signing, including product delivery, integration between customer infrastructure and company SaaS service, and sign-offs

  • Coordinate technical resources needed for up-sell opportunities and support issues, and own status reporting to support revenue projections

  • Effectively manage the sponsor bank relationships since they are the key to success in the fintech markets

  • Hold Sponsor Bank QBR’s

  • Document compliance requirements and standards for each bank

  • Partner with sales operations to create program reports to look at the portfolio and performance of partners and trends for each sponsor bank

  • Conduct regular relationship meetings with clients to create strong relationships and serve as a trusted advisor to the compliance team at the sponsor bank

  • Work closely with the VP of Commercialization, Compliance, Channel and Regulatory to create alignment on GTM and success criteria

  • Work closely with the Director of Sponsor Bank Program to create alignment with the Sponsor Banks and the Sponsor Bank Program.

  • Analyze customer data to identify and propose new ideas and processes to prevent issues and increase product usage

  • Quickly absorb new information via Socure University training program and external sources to become an expert on our solutions


  • BA/BS required

  • Minimum 8 years experience in Account Management, with at least three years as an Account Manager, or similar role

  • Experience managing complex enterprise accounts and leading the relationship at all levels of the institution from executive to business owners

  • A proven track record of quota achievement and demonstrated career stability

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills

  • Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a bias for action

  • A self-starter approach to work and the ability to adapt and thrive in rapidly changing circumstances

  • Salesforce knowledge

  • SaaS background

  • Analytical capabilities and the ability to tell a story with data

  • Familiarity with Sponsor Bank and Fintech relationships, banking compliance and regulations and operations
