\nThe Udemy People Operations team proactively partners with the business to build intuitive systems and streamline our processes that create a seamless experience from “hire to retire.” As the Manager of the People Operations team you will lead a team of People Operations Specialists, have a keen eye for process optimization, help build and oversee our processes with our professional employer organization (PEO) vendor, while also supporting the advancement of People team strategies.
\nThis is a dynamic leadership role with a team of individuals who are passionate about helping to optimize our processes in support of a strong employee experience.
\nWhat you'll be doing:

- Coach and mentor our team of global People Operations Specialists to consistently delivering high levels of service to ensure a positive experience for all Udemy employees \n
- Identify themes and continually seek feedback from stakeholders to highlight opportunities for process improvement \n
- Design and manage scalable global processes that balance a positive employee experience with compliance and systems requirements \n
- Collaborate cross-functionally with others within the People team and others throughout the business (Business Systems, IT, Legal, and Finance) to design and implement employee self-service support framework \n
- Manage the relationship with Udemy’s PEO vendor and ensuring all pre-hire and ongoing employee experiences are seamless. Related responsibilities will include: \n
- Partnering with key stakeholders (Recruiting, Finance, Hiring Managers) to navigate all logistics related to hiring internationally where Udemy does not have an established entity \n
- Coordinating with the PEO vendor and internal stakeholders to execute employee-lifecycle changes for all PEO employee types \n
- Identifying opportunities for process improvements to better the PEO experience for all stakeholders (e.g., employees, recruiters, managers, people partners, etc.) \n

What you’ll have:

- \nHR Regulations & Compliance: Understanding of local and global labor laws and regulations specific to the Ed-Tech industry to ensure all of our employees processes remain compliant \n
- \nChange Management: Knowledge of change management principles to guide the People team and other areas of the organization through process changes \n
- \nLeadership: Strong knowledge of foundational management and leadership skills, along with an ability to lead a geographically diverse team \n
- \nCommunication & Collaboration: Ability to comfortably and effectively communicate with those at all levels internally and externally (verbal & written) and ability to work harmoniously with key stakeholders (internal cross-functional teams and external partners), promote knowledge sharing, and leverage the expertise of others to enhances processes and productivity \n
- \nProject Management & Process Optimization: Ability to oversee, holders others accountable, and drive multiple cross-functional projects and priorities. Proven ability to streamline HR and employee processes, reduce inefficiencies, and enhance service delivery through optimization and automation \n
- \nCritical Thinking: Adept at analyzing employee data and trends to develop innovative solutions and recommendations for continuous improvement, demonstrating ability to make data-driven decisions and anticipate future needs \n
