About you

We’re looking for an talented marketing expert to execute on a wide variety of marketing campaigns and events both online and offline for our LATAM region.

The person in this role will be crucial to generating pipeline, elevating our brand and building awareness in key markets across LATAM. You will work on and manage vendor and agency relationships, as well as all aspects of marketing initiatives from ideation to execution.

The ideal candidate for this role will be a hands-on professional who can successfully partner cross-functionally with a variety of teams at Udemy to create industry-leading event experiences and digital campaigns that deliver real business results in the form of lead, opportunity and pipeline generation. Attention to detail, experience in the LATAM market, communication skills, and comfort with ambiguity are a must. Reporting to the LATAM Marketing Lead, this is a 100% remote individual contributor position based in Brazil, and will include travel across Latin America.

What you’ll have

  • Lead execution of LATAM sponsored and hosted events, both virtual and in-person, collaborating with global marketing teams.
  • Ensure regionalization of event content and collateral, aligning with overall marketing strategy.
  • Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts for event planning and execution.
  • Liaise between local agencies and global marketing teams to create and execute local campaigns that are aligned with global messaging and strategy
  • Foster cross-functional collaboration with Sales, Customer Success, and other teams.
  • Evaluate performance metrics, driving revenue and pipeline across our target buyer segments; meeting quarterly marketing goals
  • Execute on-demand generation, direct mail and other ABM initiatives in collaboration with regional sales teams

We're excited about you because you have::

  • 5+ years of professional experience, primarily in B2B marketing, with proficiency in driving acquisition campaigns both online and offline and driving financial targets in the B2B market
  • 2+ years working in a B2B event marketing capacity, with proven experience working in a global organization and collaborating with global marketing teams.
  • Experienced in project management, including large conference planning and contract negotiation.
  • Skilled in cross-functional collaboration and building relationships with sales teams.
  • Strong prioritization and delegation abilities, coupled with confident communication and presentation skills.
  • Action-oriented, detail-oriented, and creatively minded individual who is able to work autonomously.
  • Willingness to travel across LATAM region at least once a quarter
  • Fluency in English and Spanish is required
