The VP of Finance is a key member of Vi's leadership and G&A team, serving as a senior executive responsible for the company's full finance function — including FP&A, Controllership, and AR/AP operations. This individual will act as a strategic thought partner to the EVP of Finance, CEO, and broader C-suite, with direct accountability for financial planning, reporting, internal controls, equity and tax strategy, and board-level communications.

This is an executive-level role that requires a rare combination of deep financial expertise, executive presence, and the ability to inspire, develop, and retain a high-performing finance organization.

Responsibilities

Executive Leadership & Organizational Management

  • Communicate with confidence to the C-suite, board, and investors — including board materials, financial summaries, and fundraising support.
  • Serve as a key member of the leadership and G&A team, contributing to company-wide strategic decisions beyond the finance function.
  • Interface directly with current and prospective investors, bringing a commercial, business-first perspective to all financial discussions.

Strategic Finance & Decision Support

  • Shape financial strategy and long-range planning in partnership with the CEO and leadership team.
  • Identify cost drivers and growth levers; surface gaps and risks with recommended solutions.
  • Build financial models to support M&A, fundraising, and capital allocation decisions.

FP&A

  • Variance analysis and performance reporting to the C-suite, and board.
  • Oversee tracking and reporting on key business metrics including ARR, NRR, GRR, Rule of 40, unit economics, and other KPIs relevant to a high-growth SaaS business.

Accounting, Controls & Compliance

  • Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual close in compliance with U.S. GAAP (revenue recognition, ESOP, leases, intangibles).
  • Lead the annual audit and coordinate Israeli and U.S. tax filings.
  • Own global tax strategy including transfer pricing and sales tax compliance.
  • Maintain and strengthen internal controls and audit readiness.

Operational Finance

  • Oversee day-to-day operations: billing, collections, AP, and expense management.
  • Manage equity and options programs, including option grants, vesting, and ESOP compliance.
  • Drive process improvements and lead high-priority finance initiatives.

External Relationships & Advisory Management

  • Primary liaison to external auditors, tax consultants, legal counsel, and tax authorities across Israeli and U.S. jurisdictions.
  • Manage banking, insurance, and key vendor relationships.

Requirements

  • 10+ years in finance, including FP&A, Controllership, and finance operations leadership.
  • Prior VP of Finance or equivalent experience in high-growth tech or SaaS.
  • Executive presence with experience presenting to boards, investors, and C-suite.
  • Deep knowledge of U.S. GAAP, internal controls, global tax strategy, and ESOP accounting.
  • Proficiency with ERP systems (NetSuite, PayEm, Salesforce) and financial modeling tools.
  • CPA, CMA, or MBA preferred.
