Job Description

What you'll be doing:
- Help build and scale the Wish Local store partner base in the APAC region
- Create and execute short and long term inbound and outbound store acquisition strategy
- Build a team (both internal and external) to help acquire store partners and manage accounts
- Build market position by locating, developing, defining, and closing new business relationships
- Manage and retain relationships with existing store partners
- Represent Wish Local at industry, partner events and business associations
- Be the Retailer advocate within the Wish Local program, helping to drive product roadmap for APAC region
- Demonstrate analytical thinking and leverage data to drive decision-making
- Proactively manage technical and operational hurdles in new store partners’ on-boarding
- Effectively communicate and collaborate with relevant internal stakeholders
Qualifications
- 3-5 years of business development experience, identifying leads and converting to active accounts
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
- Building and managing teams
- Previous experience in a similar marketing/sales role strongly desired
- Some knowledge of the online shopping industry, brick and mortar retail industry, and buy-online pick-up in-store programs is a plus.
- Highly competitive, smart, detail-oriented, relentlessly resourceful
- Strong personal presence with excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Naturally curious. You're innovative, extremely creative, and constantly looking for ways to improve upon things
- Multilingual in any of the APAC regions is a plus
- Excellent organizational skills including prioritizing, scheduling, time management, and proficiency in CRM systems
- Team-oriented with the ability to work independently
- Agile individual with the ability to work autonomously in a demanding and ambiguous environment
- Proven ability to meet growth quotas
